Designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects in collaboration with WDG Architecture, 1331 represents a new residential benchmark — there’s nothing comparable in the nation’s capital. Named for its address at 1331 Maryland Avenue, SW, it contains 373 residences on 14 floors with three levels of below-grade parking. Light-filled residences feature premium finishes and magnificent views of the city, its iconic monuments, the U.S. Capitol, and the Potomac River — all with the services and amenities of a world-class hotel.
The main lobby features 15-foot ceilings and Fior di Bosco marble. A grand spiral-staircase, framed by a 30-foot mosaic backdrop, connects the main lobby to the 4,000 square foot fitness center and studio. Just off the lobby is a wood-paneled library with fireplace that opens up to an outdoor terrace. The well-appointed rooftop contains unique spaces, such as an infinity edge pool overlooking the Jefferson Memorial, a 360-degree walking path, as well as interior and exterior lounges for lavish entertainment, which includes a piano lounge.
The residences set a new standard for luxury living in the District, with a variety of unit types -- ranging in size from 580 sf to penthouse homes as large as 3,400 sf. The top four levels, branded the Sky Suites, are accessed by their own private elevator bank.
