Brian Yi is the Director of Investments at Republic Urban Properties. His primary responsibilities consist of quantitative analysis, budgeting, marketing, and asset management. Mr. Yi coordinates with key executives in acquisitions, forward-planning/entitlements, accounting, and construction.
Since joining the company in early 2014, Mr. Yi has been engaged in the management, financing, and sale of assets valued at over $600 million, which include multi-family residential and commercial retail properties. At the asset management level, he manages the insurance, appraisal, and tax assessments.
Mr. Yi has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from San Jose State University. During his studies, he was affiliated with the Banking and Investing Association and the Financial Management Association. He is active in the local community and is currently a member of the Urban Land Institute and Silicon Valley Organization.
