Lois Vega is the controller at Republic Urban Properties. As controller, Ms. Vega supports the team at the West Coast office in all financial matters. She assists with preparation of proformas, budgeting, preparation of financial statements, and contract administration.
Prior to joining Republic, Ms. Vega was a controller at a magazine publishing company located in Menlo Park, owned a public accounting practice, and worked in the homeowner’s association industry at associations and a property management company. She was also a partner in the Certified Public Accounting firm Everson & Zandee, located in Campbell, California. Ms. Vega moved to California from Michigan in 1988. In Michigan, she worked as a collateral analyst at a commercial bank and as an accountant at a credit union.
Ms. Vega is a graduate of Davenport University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a minor in Business Law. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Massage Therapist (CMT), and enjoys running and rowing in her spare time. She is currently the volunteer treasurer of Los Gatos Rowing Club and a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the California Society of CPAs.
